Interac Phishing Alert ...
Credit unions and/or members may have received an e-mail that looks like it was sent from Interac Association. It was not sent by Interac Association. Details on this Phishing attempt.
If you were to select any one of the options offered in the e-mail to update your bank information, you could be providing confidential information to an unknown source and possibly link your computer to unknown individuals. If you ever receive an e-mail that asks for confidential information, do not reply using their links.
To confirm the e-mail address request, either phone the business with a number you have on file or e-mail the business using an address you have from a legitimate, known source.
E-mail phishing fraud alert
Unigasco is aware of "phishing" emails in the form of surveys asking for feedback on your financial institution. These messages are scams and should simply be deleted. The messages offer awards up to $500, but there is no monetary award for filling out the form -- this is an identity theft scam.
Unigasco and affiliated organizations will never solicit e-mails requesting your credit union username, password, pin number, or other personal identity information.
